I have been. And I've been getting exactly what I demand....policies that save net lives. Policies based on rational reflection rather than reactionary "waving the bloody shirt".

Oh, Dann ... I hope you don't ever have the chance for a Portman Conversion, where rigid, theoretical ideology is forced to yield to common human decency through the agency of personal experience.

Poor Dann is having a rough day, rigid theoretical ideology-wise. Over on FB this morning, he praised an article from RedState.com which claimed that liberals were distraught that the Marathon bombers weren't Tea Party people.

What action should I demand?
People kill people. Yes, guns make it easier, as the recent knifing incident in Texas, I think it was, shows. And bombs aren't as reliable, as the incident in Boston shows.
Still, I think it time to repeal the Second Amendment.
