Well, you'll learn more in the next chapter. But this sort of thing really happened in those days, and I was thinking of a customs officer who was shot by bootleggers, because people think, "Oh, it doesn't matter -- nobody cares about that law -- it isn't hurting anyone ..." But there are real people who are hurt by crime and by criminals.
And, of course, Kenny has just had a rude awakening after all the fun of the bootleggers' party, hasn't he? It's not so harmless anymore.

The question of what Kenny does with the money is one of the most interesting in the story. Keep reading ... but that question is one you'll have to answer for yourself. What would you do? What would be the RIGHT thing?

I was wondering two things what is your favorite chapter without giving away the enging and will this serial story ever become a real book? My favorite chapter is chapter 7 because when you finish it you are on the end of your seat and you just want to read more, and want it to be Wednesday so you can.
I think this chapter or this part is the climax!

I like different parts of the story for different reasons, but this is certainly exciting. My favorite part might be the chapter when Kenny and his friends are downtown, because it really shows how Kenny kind of feels that knowing Eddie makes him cool. I think a lot of young people have had that feeling about being pleased with something that maybe they should be uncomfortable about. Kenny feels proud that Eddie knows him and he knows Eddie, but he can't even tell anyone the truth about how they met.

Look again -- was that Eddie who did that?

Dear Mr.Peterson,
This is Andrea from Mrs.Dermady's class. I predict that Raymond will be okay. Will Kenny be mad at George for being a bootlegger? I think Kenny is saying that, "Is it my fault that Raymond got shot?" Thank you for skyping with us. That was a blast!
